Situation:
A strong southwesterly flow affects New Zealand today and tomorrow, with heavy southwest swells developing about exposed coasts. The southwest flow affecting New Zealand eases on Sunday. On Monday a ridge of high pressure moves onto the far north of the country with a westerly flow farther south. On Tuesday, a ridge of high pressure affects the far north but a westerly flow covers the remainder of the country.

Rough sea at times. Fair visibility in morning showers, clearing to fine in the afternoon. Northwest swell 2 metres, easing to 1 metre. Northeast swell 1.5 metres, easing to 1 metre.
