Inshore waters from Matakana Island to Mayor Island to Motiti Island and then east to Torere River mouth.
Situation:
A ridge of high pressure lies over the country while a weak front moves slowly over central New Zealand today. The front moves southwards over the north of the South Island tomorrow. A front moves onto central New Zealand late Saturday as the flow turns southwest. The front should weaken and move northwards over the North Island on Sunday. Meanwhile a ridge builds over the South Island and a high pressure system approaches the country on Monday.
